Three Killed in Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood Shooting Grasswire | Your Newsroom: There was some initial confusion about whether the incident took place at or near the Planned Parenthood building; Buckley later confirmed at a press conference the incident took place inside the clinic.

Law enforcement sources told the Denver Post, CBS News and at least one local news outlet that the shooting suspect was identified as Robert Lewis Dear. His name has not been officially released by police.

The incident wrapped up shortly before 5 p.m. local time when officers entered the building and established verbal contact with the suspect, Buckley said. A short time later, the suspect surrendered without incident.
