Trump Like 'Lynch Mob' Leader, Says Muslim Group | News | teleSUR English: The billionaire-turned-presidential-hopeful backed up his claims by citing a study from the widely discredited Center for Security Policy.

The center was founded by Frank Gaffney, who has been described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “one of America’s most notorious Islamophobes.”

The extremist monitor has stated Gaffney “seemed to go off the rails” after founding the Center for Security Policy in the late 1980s, and is now “gripped by paranoid fantasies about Muslims destroying the West from within.”

Trump himself has been accused of discrimination and racism during his presidential race. So far, Trump has drawn criticism for describing Mexican migrants as disease-ridden “rapists” and suggesting he may be open to a national Muslim register. Earlier this month, Trump was accused of trying to court the Jewish vote with anti-Semitic stereotypes, after a controversial speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition.
