In an accompanying blog post, he said his group had encountered 23 migrants of Afghan origin in the forest. The vigilante goes on to describe that, since his group could not explain to border police their exact location, they then accompanied the migrants to the nearest village. A television crew from the Bulgaria NOVA channel's "No Man's Land" program accompanied the vigilantes that day and published a far lengthier version of the encounter. And finally, on February 14, a semi-professional wrestler, Dinko Valev, uploaded similar footage directly onto his personal Facebook page of a video of a vigilante round-up.
