Longest Walk Northern Route arrives in Ohio

The Longest Walk Northern Route is now at the Indiana and Ohio border and is in need of hot meals, tennis shoes and gas cards for support vehicles for the final trek to Washington D.C. The runners will be passing through Dayton, Ohio this week on their way to Pennsylvania. Special prayers are planned near the prison where Leonard Peltier is incarcerated during late June. In July, there will be a cultural survival summit July 8 -- 11 in Washington before the final prayer walk into D.C. on July 11, 2008.
