When Music Can Tell a Tale of Hate...Watch Out...

In light of the recent revelations that the United States is indeed a pro-European racist country due to White fears of a possible African man as Commander-in-Chief, I thought it would appropriate to raise empirical evidence of this in "real" White American culture, (for what it is).

While not a big fan of Country Western music, I have a sincere respect for classical C&W because like most grassroots material, its basic, gets to the heart of the matter and reflects the perspectives of the artists and audience involved. Having said that, where is one to place the extensive work of music artists like David Allen Coe?

To say that he is controversial is minimizing the xenophobic weight of his work. Often confused with fellow White supremacist musician Johnny Rebel, (Clifford Joseph "Pee Wee" Trahan) famous among White Power circles for tunes like: "Ni**er Hating Me," "Coon Town," "Who Likes A Ni**er" and "Move Them Ni**ers North," Coe is admired by professional xenophobes for his anthem, "Ni**er Fucker," a song about a poor, beaten-down White southern male bitching about losing his women to a well-endowed African lover.

Anti-African racism is as American as killing Aboriginal people and Manifest Destiny. It is an ingrained part of the United States psychological paradigm and the more argument presented to dispel this reality only goes on to prove that race and White supremacist attitudes exist institutionally and in the hearts and minds of the nation. Recently Barack Obama for President advocates in Pennsylvania and other majority Euro-American states have reported not just rejection on racial terms from White folks but threats of bombing and other violence for promoting a Black candidate.

As we have all been witness to the White reactionary outrage over issue like the Simpson murder case, (which frankly was only a issue of importance only because the suspected murderer was an African male accused of killing a White female) the presence of militant reactionary Euro-Americans whining about their sense of disillusionment concerning a perceived loss of socio-political power and sexual domination cannot be logically denied. The question at this point is where will this anti-African, anti-Latino immigrant and anti-Homosexual angst by angry and potentially violent White people go? Is there a real concern for the race war White radicals have been calling for since Reconstruction?

I for one, and not flippantly, sincerely believe that there is a distinct possibility that a small and totally dedicated cadre of committed White Power militants could start something that would cause enough inter-tribal mayhem to begin exactly the sort of chaos they have been preaching for. I ask IIN readers to consider that it only takes a handful of racist fools or one zealous and hateful White racist individual to begin a chain-reaction that could seriously tear the United States apart only because their innate sense of Eugenic insecurity and immaturity would like a spoiled child inspire them to strike out at what they are immensely afraid of.

When one listens to the level of fear espoused by these people, it becomes clear that they are in fact afraid, of everything. They blame Jews for high petrol rates although White capitalists in their own country are the real culprits; they blame Latinos for taking their jobs in spite of the fact that fellow White business owners are the economic entities that favour foreign-born cheap labour from across the Rio Grande and they blame Africans for everything from race-mixing to high crime rates as a matter of a congenital predisposition to crime and violence. The fact that poverty and historical institutional bias was and still is, (See: Bill Clinton's 'New Crime Bill') a part of the American system is ignored.

But to comprehend all this one must first be intelligent enough and willing to educate oneself. Obviously most White racists and other ethnic bigots of any heritage find emotional soundbites easier to digest than sincere socio-political scholarship. It is indicative of bigots that they almost never, if ever, delve into the factors behind these issues. The psychological factors of racism in turn are virtually never addressed by activists for the very same reasons. Saying White racism is wrong is not the same as 'proving' that White reactionary sentiments are wrong. If we are at all serious about ending this vicious circle of self-fulfilling prophecy education must take a front seat to emotion and antiquated feelings of Europocentric Eugenic superiority.

As the following hateful and tellingly insecure lyrics show, White males have a serious problem with African men whom they view as a threat. And when someone is that immature and that afraid, anything is possible, threatening and potentially dangerous to the United States as a national body. As you read this, consider the artist and those who find such songs worthy of purchase and enjoyment. And then pray to your deity for guidance out of this confusion we call the U.S. of A. as Hillary Clinton uses racism to win this election.
