Demonstrations and events are being planned around the world for the August 30th global day of action to 'Drop the Charges' against the 20 Tino Rangatiratanga (Maori sovereignty), anarchist, environmental and peace activists arrested in the nationwide State Terror Raids of 15 October 2007. Next week the Depositions (pre-trial) hearing for the arrestees will begin at the Auckland District Court. More

1 September: Solidarity Demo outside Court – 1st September 9.15 – 10.30am, Cnr Kingston & Albert St. GPJA Forum: What the anti-terror raids mean for dissent in NZ. 7.30pm, Trades Hall, 147 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland.
2nd September 6pm Forum at Auckland University. anti-capitalism and anti-colonial struggles in australia and the pacific
3rd September: Film Screening - 3 Black Panthers & The Last Slave Plantation at Trades Hall, 5.30pm

Palmerston North: Friday 29th August. Demonstration outside courthouse. More

Wellington / Te Whanganui-a-Tara: Saturday August 30th Meet at 12noon at 128 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro. March through town - speakers and music

Vancouver (Canada): Saturday August 30th Film Screening at Spartacus Books, 684 East Hastings, at 7pm. Money to support the accused!

Melbourne (Australia): Rally at Federation Square 2pm Saturday August 30th.
