Film Showing and Discussion Featuring 'Occupation 101' On the History of Palestine

One of the most significant events in the current period will be taking place in the city of Detroit between June 14-17. The 'People's Summit', four days of active resistance to the worsening global economic crisis, convenes at Grand Circus next Sunday.

The four-day gathering is being organized by the Moratorium NOW! Coalition to Stop Foreclosures and Evictions along with over 30 other local and national groups and coalitions. The Summit will feature speeches, marches, strategy sessions and cultural presentations. Everyone interested in the struggle for economic justice and world peace are welcome to come and join the People's Summit."
