Houston Solidarity with Egypt : Houston Indymedia: "Hundreds of Houstonians; predominantly from the Egyptian and Arab community, but accompanied by scores of others, gathered today January 30th to support the Egyptians taking to the street and demanding an end to the Mumbarak regime. Folks from all generations gathered and chanted in English and Arabic supporting a free and democratic Egypt

The consulate is in a large office building on Westheimer, west of the Galleria, there was a large amount of traffic, and many people honked in support, from folks in there cars to an HFD Fire Truck."
