Part of Libyan capital under control of protesters | Haiti News.Net: "Protesters in the Libyan capital Tripoli have attacked state broadcasters, trashing offices.

The headquarters of al-Jamahiriya 2 TV and al-Shababia radio were attacked in retaliation for the many people killed in the Libyan city of Benghazi.

Branches of the People's Committees, which are mouthpieces for the Gadaffi regime, have also been trashed.

Reuters has reported that the People's Hall was set on fire overnight.

The building is where the Libyan parliament meets when it is in session in Tripoli."
