Dr. Fidel Castro: Lo que debe demandarse a Estados Unidos | Cubadebate

17.7.11

Lo que debe demandarse a Estados Unidos | Cubadebate: "Costa Rica's meeting did not lead or could lead to peace. The people of Honduras are not at war, only use weapons coup against him. They should demand an end to its war against the people. Such a meeting between Zelaya and the coup would only serve to demoralize the constitutional president and erode the powers of the Honduran people.

The world knows what happened in this country through the images broadcast by international television, primarily Telesur, without losing one second transmitted faithfully each of the events in Honduras, the speeches and the unanimous agreement of the agencies international counter-coup.

The world could see the blows that were unloaded on men and women, thousands of tear gas into the crowds, the rude gestures with weapons and gunfire to intimidate, injure or kill citizens.

It is absolutely false idea that the U.S. ambassador in Tegucigalpa, Hugo Llorens, ignore or discourage a coup. He knew, as the U.S. military advisers, not a minute stopped train Honduran troops."
