...Newspaper stands by journalist not to reveal sources | Trinidad Express Newspaper | News: In a statement issued last evening, Newsday said it "condemned in the strongest possible language" the raid by officers of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, led by Senior Supt Solomon Koon Koon, on its Port of Spain offices.

The police executed a warrant and searched Bagoo's desk in the newsroom and went through his office computer, all the documents on his desk, including Parliamentary papers. They took with them two flash drives, Bagoo's company-issued mobile telephone, his personal mobile and Newsday's computer hard drive on which Bagoo had confidential information, said the release.

At Bagoo's home, the police produced another warrant and seized his three personal computers and two flash drives.
