Dominican justice minister accuses ex-official of conspiring against Haitian president — RT News line

April 14, 2012 — RT News line: Radhames Jimenez, the Minister of Justice of the Dominican Republic, has accused retired army colonel Pedro Goico, an adviser to former President Hipolito Mejia, of conspiring against current Haitian President Michel Martelly. Speaking to his Haitian counterpart Michel Brunache, Jimenez said the former colonel was caught on a recorded telephone conversation instructing a Haitian accomplice on how to discredit President Martelly in order to force him out of office. Mejia denied the existence of any plot and called the allegations absurd.
