Allen West, may have turned heads when he accused 81 House Democrats of being Communists, but the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was not amused. West was slated to be an NAACP Florida branch keynote speaker at its annual fundraiser last weekend, but instead the event was rescheduled and a new speaker was booked. “We don’t want to look like we support that statement he made,” the branch president said.
