Communiqué AMDH Oujda déportation des émigrés

About 30 sub-Saharan migrants (irregular situations) and of various nationalities (Cameroon, Congo, Mali) were deported by force to the city of Nador Moroccan-Algerian borders, without going through the police prefecture of Oujda . Among the deportees are six women, including a pregnant and a child of 13 months. This event took place on Wednesday, October 9 at around 20h.
All prisoners are survivors of a makeshift boat that capsized during their trip to Melilla Nador. According to their testimony, they remained in the sea for more than five hours, five emigrants among them perished in the mishap (3 s Congolese woman, a man and a child) before the Moroccan coast guards intervened. After the rescue, they were transferred to the hospital in Nador then to the police station before being transported to the Algerian border where many of them were turned away while others (5 women, six men and one child) were left in a very dangerous desert about 40 km from Nador.
AMDH Oujda tried to contact the same day and from becoming aware of this deportation, the police prefecture of Oujda, in an attempt to prevent the discharge of these emigrants, or police authorities have certified that 'there were no deportations, however, after on-site investigation we knew that these events took place, and we could join and comm unicate with the group that was sent to Nador. The Committee on emigration AMDH Oujda could join this group late at night (11:30 p.m. to 0:00) to Arkmane 20 km from Nador. We found that:
