Feds launch committee for Aboriginal women | Canada | News | Meadow Lake Progress: The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN) is pleased the federal government has set up a special parliamentary committee on missing and murdered aboriginal women, but they also want to be at the table.

“While that’s the first step, the issue warrants deeper investigation,” said FSIN Vice-chief Kim Jonathan. “The voices of indigenous people need to be part of this committee … We’re hoping to be an active part.”
