BREAKING: Post Office workers join Royal Mail strike - UnionNews: The union last week announced action by 100,000 Royal Mail staff, and today said they would be joined by 4,000 Post Office workers protesting over a pay freeze, plans to close and/or franchise 75 offices and cut up to 1,500 jobs. The admin and supply chain dispute involves up to 1,500 people and is in reaction to a pay freeze...CWU deputy general secretary Dave Ward said: “We are co-ordinating strike action across postal companies for Monday 4 November to increase the impact of the action and try and focus the minds of company negotiators.
