Native American voting rights in Montana | Al Jazeera America: Some Native Americans drive more than 100 miles to vote in Montana. Fed up with the situation, they’ve filed suit against county and state election officials seeking satellite voting on their reservations. Election officials say the cost of satellite voting is too high. Native American voters have the potential to change the outcome of local and state elections in Montana and other states with high Native populations.
