New Australian Government filled with supporters of Armenian Genocide recognition | ARMENPRESS Armenian News Agency: YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS: The Prime Minister of Australia, Tony Abbott and three of his senior Ministers have all, while in Opposition over the last three years, properly characterised the Armenian Genocide in public speeches and statements.

Abbott, Australia’s 28th Prime Minister, recently unveiled his new Cabinet. As Armenpress reports, the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) revealed that "Armenians should be delighted that 20% of the Cabinet, as well as many members of the outer Ministry, were on recent record either characterising the Armenian Genocide correctly or outright advocating for Australia's recognition of the Armenian Genocide".
