Residential school survivor donates $10.000 to Pediatrics Unit | On First Nation Issues, Jobs, Events, And Environmental Issues On The West Coast And World Events.: Charles Delorme, known by many as “Charlie,” recently donated money from his residential school settlement to a local youth centre. Garry Hubert, executive director of the SideDoor Youth Centre, says Charlie walked into the centre for the first time, said he wanted to give the centre something and handed him a folded piece of paper.
