WELCOME TO CANADA THE PETRO STATE | Sierra Club Canada: "Sierra Club Canada stands in solidarity with the Mi'kmaq of Elsipogtog First Nation in their struggle. There has never been a proper environmental assessment of large-scale fracking in New Brunswick -- despite widespread reports of contamination of wells in Canada and the United States.

The reality is that every fracking well uses millions of gallons of water mixed with hundreds of toxic and carcinogenic chemicals (that we know of—the rest are being kept secret).
