Palestinian Death Toll Reaches 1000 As IDF Presses On With 'Operation Protective Edge'

27.7.14

APNS /North America [07.26.2014] – International news correspondents situated within Occupied Gaza – which is currently under siege from the State of Israel's latest invasion, codenamed: 'Operation Protective Edge' – are reporting that upwards of 1000 Indigenous Arab Palestinians have been killed following a rush barrage of IDF shelling just hours before a 12-hour ceasefire was to take effect between the occupying Israeli state and the elected-government of Hamas. The limited ceasefire was allowed, according to sources, to afford Palestinian survivors – such as those living in the eastern Gaza area of Shuja’iya – to collect their dead. Palestinian and international commentators have suggested that the IDF is deliberately targeting private residences and rescue shelters in civilian areas that are known to the IDF and their pilots. Other reports indicate extensive use of mortar and missile fire and the killing of numbers of people including the wounding of hundreds of others from IDF troop and tank movements.
