Al respecto, el miembro de la Dirección Nacional, Freddy Bernal, comentó a la prensa que Chávez no solo fue el líder fundamental del Partido, sino también se convirtió en “nuestro maestro político, conductor ideológico”.
“Chávez nos unió en el amor, nos enseñó a amar al pueblo, al pobre, al desposeído, al indigente. Chávez se hizo millones, se multiplicó en el pueblo”, dijo el diputado al Parlamento.
