La tragédie inuite: le sud sans issue | Cyberpresse - C'était en 2007. Édouard Plante-Fréchette n'était encore qu'étudiant en photographie. Il ne sortait jamais sans son appareil. Un jour, en pleine tempête de neige, il a vu un homme, assis dans la neige. Il souriait. L'homme lui a demandé de l'aider à rentrer chez lui. Cet homme, c'était Isaac Augiak. Chez lui, il y avait son ami, Thomas Weetaltuk. Deux Inuits, venus vivre dans le Sud, en quête d'un nouveau départ. Édouard Plante-Fréchette les a suivis par à-coups pendant cinq ans. Il a partagé leur quotidien, leurs cicatrices, leurs rêves de steaks et de homards, leurs disputes, leurs allers-retours entre l'itinérance et la vie dans des appartements miteux.
