Finns rally against racism after lawmaker calls multiculturalism a 'nightmare': [stream.aljazeera.com] Thousands of Finns protested on Tuesday in response to a lawmaker’s comments calling multiculturalism a “nightmare”. Protests took place around the country, with 15,000 people gathering in downtown Helsinki in a show of support for diversity. The protests were spurred by a Facebook post from Olli Immonen, a member of the Finns Party. The party belongs to the country’s ruling coalition and is known for its tough stance on immigration.
