Square peoples together with other groups and assemblies manifiestoManifiestoLas signed assemblies, groups, associations and individuals who adhere to this statement, we express our deep regret at the celebration of the 12th of October and propose initiating a comprehensive dialogue process that allows resignificar this date, through recognition of the dramatic impact of historical colonization and new settlements in the survival, dignity and sovereignty of the territory known today as Latin America / Abya Yala and many other peoples around the world. On October 12 symbolically it represents the beginning of a political military occupation that resulted in the extermination of more than 80 million people and slavery and forced displacement of hundreds of thousands others belonging to indigenous peoples of America and Africa
