Chapel By The Sea Management Removes Mural - NIRS NEWS: The mural – which depicted five Aboriginal Rights activists – was commissioned by the Uniting Church in 2013 and was recognised as an important symbol of reconciliation.
The Wayside Chapel by the Sea, established in 1993 as a drop-in space for people struggling with addiction, homelessness and mental health issues, issued a statement in July that it would be ‘rejuvenating’ the site.
