Indígenas venezolanos listos para escoger a sus constituyentistas | Noticias | teleSUR - Este martes 1 de agosto se realizarán 1.250 asambleas comunitarias para elegir a los constituyentistas indígenas. Estas se efectuarán en los municipios venezolanos Angostura, Sucre, Cedeño, Heres, Caroní, Sifontes y Gran Sabana.

Los tres miembros que representarán al sector indígena por la Región Oriente de Venezuela en la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente (ANC) serán escogidos este martes por los pueblos originarios del estado venezolano de Bolívar, informó la diputada indígena ante el Consejo Legislativo de Bolívar, Yaritza Aray.

Aray explicó que los pueblos originarios tienen derecho a ocho representantes en la ANC elegidos territorialmente según la presencia de estas comunidades en las diferentes regiones del país. Por la Región Oriente se elegirán tres constituyentistas indígenas correspondientes a los estados Anzoátegui, Apure, Bolívar, Monagas y Delta Amacuro.
