Indigenous Australia asks why Queen Elizabeth hasn't had her citizenship questioned | Welcome To Country: It has been well over 100 years since federation but still today, Australia is struggling with an identity crisis. This identity crisis is largely due to the fact that European settlers have tried to hold on to their European roots and traditions while out-rightly refusing to acknowledge, accept or embrace Aboriginal culture. Nowhere is this more obvious than Australia’s unwillingness to become a republic.
