ENKS asks for US support for Peshmerga deployment to Syrian Kurdistan: [kurdistan24.net] In a statement released on Tuesday, the ENKS announced that it had informed the US State Department about the role the party can play in the East Euphrates, including the deployment of the KRG-trained Rojava Peshmerga fighters.

According to the statement, an ENKS delegation headed by Kamiran Hajo recently met with the Head of the Near Eastern Affairs Bureau and the Head of the Syrian team at the State Department to discuss the situation in Syria and Rojava.

“During its meetings with US officials, the ENKS expressed its readiness to play a role in the East Euphrates River administration and the return of Rojava Peshmerga fighters to Syrian Kurdistan,” it added.
