Our native title is again at risk of extinguishment by the Queensland Government and we must make sure they don’t do it.

Our injunction against the State and Adani was lifted by the Federal Court ahead of our major court battle on 12-14 March against Adani’s sham ILUA.

That means right now the Queensland Government has the power to extinguish our Native Title if they choose to. And not just before our court case, but at anytime.

The Government doesn’t have to go down this path. They should rule out ever extinguishing native title for Adani.

And they most certainly shouldn’t act on a dodgy land deal for the benefit of a crooked company. They mustn’t hide behind paperwork and technicalities when people’s lives and country and integrity are on the line.

It’s time the Queensland Government stood up for our rights and our shared future.
