Suspenden en Sudán del Sur operaciones de radioemisora de ONU - [prensa-latina.cu] El director administrativo de la Autoridad Sursudanesa de Medios, Elijah Alier, explicó a periodistas que la estación de radio fue suspendida desde este viernes 'porque no obtuvo una licencia de transmisión válida'.

Alier argumentó que la decisión se adoptó después de transcurrir un plazo de registro de dos semanas por la negativa de la radiodifusora 'a ser regulada por las leyes de medios en la República de Sudán del Sur'....The media regulator of South Sudan suspended the operations of the Miraya FM radio station, operated by the United Nations Mission in this country (Unmiss).

The administrative director of the South Sudanese Media Authority, Elijah Alier, told reporters that the radio station was suspended since Friday 'because he did not obtain a valid transmission license'.

Alier argued that the decision was taken after a two-week registration deadline for the radio station's refusal to 'be regulated by media laws in the Republic of South Sudan.'
