Kanaks a majority on New Caledonia roll - FLNKS | RNZ News: It said they need to be added to the 80,000 people with customary status, which means that 63 percent of the possible voters are Kanaks.

A senior FLNKS member Aloisio Sako said talks will be held with the authorities to ensure the campaign leading up to the vote on November 4th will go ahead in all calm.
