NRT English: NRT Digital Media reporter Nazir Shangali said that the demonstrators were angry that the checkpoint had been closed for a third time, making travel difficult and unpredictable.
The protesters have set up tents near the border, Shangali added.
The commander of Iraqi Army’s Brigade 15 said yesterday that the unit would reopen the crossing, but it remains shuttered.
