Kerajaan Negeri patut layan tuntutan tanah adat oleh Orang Asli sejak dulu - Tengku Razaleigh | Astro Awani: Jelasnya lagi, dengan tindakan itu barangkali ada ruang bagi kaum Orang Asli Temiar itu mendapat pengiktirafan hak tanah kerana mereka merupakan 'orang asal' dan telah lama menghuni kawasan berkenaan.
Tengku Razaleigh turut bersimpati dengan Orang Asli yang bertindak melakukan beberapa siri sekatan sebelum ini bagi menjaga kawasan yang disifatkan sebagai tanah adat mereka.
"Nampaknya ini satu cadangan yang kita boleh ketengahkan. Yang saya rasa pihak saya di sini pun boleh bersetuju supaya kerajaan negeri di sini boleh memberi pertimbangan yang sewajarnya kepada Orang Asli yang membuat tuntutan.
