March 23 - Amsterdam Antifa blok op de ‘samen tegen racisme’ demonstratie

AFA ondersteunt de noodzaak van een brede antiracisme beweging en daarmee ook het belang van deze demonstratie. Wij waren aangenaam verrast te lezen dat Comité 21 Maart in hun eigen oproep dit jaar terecht veel aandacht besteedt aan het gevaar van de steeds uitbreidende wereldwijde opmars van extreemrechts, zowel in de politiek als op straat. We onderschrijven ook in het bijzonder de door hen geuite kritiek op de verrechtsing van centrumrechtse en ‘linkse’ politieke partijen, waardoor extreemrechts steeds meer ruimte krijgt

De vorige jaren hebben we al vaak gezien dat politieke partijen als de SP en GroenLinks met veel vertoon meelopen op de Samen Tegen Racisme demonstratie om in een goed blaadje te komen, terwijl zij ondertussen gewoon meewerken aan de totstandkoming en uitvoering van racistisch en onderdrukkend beleid. Dit is natuurlijk walgelijk. Wij vinden het belangrijk dat de demonstratie niet gekaapt wordt door partijpolitiek en onoprechte, oppervlakkige geluiden. We roepen dan ook iedereen op om naar deze demonstratie te komen en zich aan te sluiten bij ons radicaal antifascistische en antiracistische blok. Met dit blok willen we staan voor een van onderop georganiseerd, strijdbaar, antikapitalistisch antiracisme. Voor totale bewegingsvrijheid voor iedereen en een sterk antifascistisch geluid. Bovendien willen we benadrukken dat de strijd tegen racisme en tegen extreemrechts iedere dag gevoerd wordt. In de politiek, in de media, en op de straten. We hopen dat ons blok een oproep zal zijn voor een krachtige, duurzame, actieve organisatie tegen het fascisme en alle vormen van onderdrukking, die verder gaat dan alleen de deelname aan deze demonstratie.

Kom ook en ga samen met ons de straat op. Geef fascisme geen kans!

We also particularly endorse the criticism they have made of the right-wing politics of center-right and "left-wing" political parties, which gives the extreme right more and more room

In previous years we have often seen that political parties such as the SP and GroenLinks walk with a lot of show at the Together Against Racism demonstration in order to get in a good position, while in the meantime they are simply cooperating in the development and implementation of racist and oppressive policy. This is of course disgusting. We think it is important that the demonstration is not hijacked by party politics and insincere, superficial sounds. We therefore call on everyone to come to this demonstration and to join our radical anti-fascist and anti-racist bloc. With this block we want to stand for bottom-up, militant, anti-capitalist anti-racism. For total freedom of movement for everyone and a strong anti-fascist sound. Moreover, we want to emphasize that the fight against racism and the extreme right is being waged every day. In politics, in the media, and on the streets. We hope that our bloc will be a call for a powerful, sustainable, active organization against fascism and all forms of oppression that goes beyond just participating in this demonstration.
