No faltó en la conmemoración el canto a la Patria desde el arte comprometido y, en el resumen, Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, miembro del Buró Provincial del Partido Comunista de Cuba en La Habana, habló del 16 de abril como un día de honor y gloria para el pueblo cubano y, sobre todo, un día para evocar a Fidel.
