Mazar-i-Sharif. There is suspected trafficking of the Swedish base in Afghanistan. Kitchen staff from India and Nepal have been forced to accept slave contract to work at the camp.
The scandal has led to the internal investigation by the company to employ the Armed Forces.
Mazar-i-Sharif. Jon Mohammad, 25, has worked in the kitchen of the Swedish base for several years.
But when the company Supreme took charge of the kitchen, he was fired.
- They just said they wanted to have Indian staff, he says.
Inside the kitchen of the Swedish base work is in full of hot pots and trays. Hundreds of Swedish soldiers to have food after having been or are on your way to risky surgery. They want good food.
But the Indians and Nepalis who work there have had to pay to get to work for the Swedes. Their contracts have been slave-like character.
