Donald Trump: Racist, Inhumane ‘Operation Wetback’ Is Model For Immigration Plan (VIDEO) �
If this sounds a teensy bit racist to you, you’re probably right. According to the billionaire, his immigration policy will be modeled on the famously-bigoted “Operation Wetback”of the 1950s — after he builds his “big, beautiful wall,” that is. In an interview with 60 Minutes, Trump explained that his plan to waste $100-$200 billion deporting brown people, then allow them to come back on a per-case basis, will absolutely work because President Eisenhower did it in the 1950s.
“We are rounding them up in a very humane way, in a very nice way,
and they’re going to be happy because they want to be legalized,” Trump
whitesplained to 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley. The 2016 hopeful, who now
denies that he insinuated that all Mexicans are rapists, explained that Eisenhower, “did this with over a million people during ‘Operation Wetback’.”
