Belgium's Support for Peshmerga to Endure: Minister � - basnews: Steven Vandeput made the promise as he received Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s Minister of Interior Karim Sinjari and KRG Representative to European Union Delavar Ajgeiy.

KRG's senior officials are in Brussels to attend a special conference over the challenges after the elimination of IS.

Vandeput assured the KRG delegation that Belgium will carry on with training Peshmerga and will try earnestly to elevate the level of support for the Kurdish forces, especially in terms of treating those who suffered injuries in the battle against IS.

On behalf of the KRG, Sinjari thanked Belgium for its efforts in capacity building and provision of weaponry to the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs as well as treating wounded troops.
