ANF | A Norwegian guerrilla in the PKK ranks, mountains of Kurdistan: [ANF - RIZGAR AMED / SERHAT ARARAT] Speaking to ANF, Cudi told that he decided to join PKK “because it was the right thing to do”. According to Cudi, PKK is not only an organization that is fighting just for Kurds or Kurdish lands, PKK fights also for humanity.

“A lot of people think that PKK is only fighting for Kurdistan and only cares about Kurdish people, but this is wrong. What PKK is fighting for is firstly for the freedom of our leader Serok Apo, and for the liberation of oppressed women and for the liberation of oppressed people all over the world. In these times its necessary that people are aware of what the Turkish state is doing. A lot of the states in Europe are accepting the actions that are committed by the Turkish state by staying passive.”

Cudi pointed out that Turkey has burned down thousands of Kurdish villages, jailed Kurdish leader Abdullah calan and Kurdish politicians, “because the Turkish state and Erdoğan are afraid of freedom”.
